DiscField is an independent disc golf resource run by Morten. This page explains the information used to operate the site and measure readership.

Your analytics choice

Google Analytics is optional. We load its script only after you choose “Allow analytics”. Declining does not limit access to our guides, disc records or comparison tool. Use “Privacy settings” at the bottom of any page to change your choice.

We store your choice in your browser under discfield-analytics-consent-v1 for up to 180 days, then ask again. This preference stays in your browser. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page session.

What analytics collects

After consent, Google Analytics processes page visits, cookie identifiers and technical information about your browser and device to help us understand readership. Our page-view events include the page address without query parameters or fragments, the page title and the referring site's origin. We do not send names, email addresses or comparison selections in these events.

The Google Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_6C2F71GHPV help distinguish browsers and sessions. We configure their lifetime to 180 days without extending it on each visit. Our integration disables Google signals and advertising personalization signals. We have no advertising tags or user accounts on this site.

Google receives analytics data and may process it outside your country. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Withdrawing consent

Choose “Decline analytics” in Privacy settings to stop future measurement. We remove the Google Analytics cookies accessible to this site and reload the page if analytics was running. This does not erase data already received by Google. You can also clear this site's cookies and browser storage.

Your saved bag

Bag Check saves the discs, roles and notes you enter in this browser so you can return to them. It works whether you accept or decline analytics. Use “Clear bag” to empty the saved bag, or clear this site's browser storage to remove it. There is no server account or automatic sync.

When you copy a bag link, the bag and notes are included in the link fragment. Anyone you share it with can read them. We do not include these fragments or bag contents in our analytics events. Avoid putting personal or sensitive information in bag notes.

Hosting and external links

Vercel hosts DiscField and processes connection information needed to deliver pages, such as IP addresses and request details. See Vercel's privacy policy. Manufacturer and retailer links lead to separate websites with their own privacy practices.
