Choose it for
Maximum distance for power throwers. Innova designed it for low, level power drives, long forehands and spike hyzers. It needs a lot of arm speed, so most recreational players get more from a slower driver.
Choose something else if…
You are still building distance with fairway drivers. The extra speed and rim width usually cost accuracy before they add distance.
What the Firestorm flight numbers mean
Thrown hard and low, Innova says it flies straight before a forward-finishing fade, which is what -1 turn and 3 fade describe. Speed 14 is the top of Innova’s scale.
