What the FL flight numbers suggest
Speed 9 is a fast fairway driver rating. It needs a reasonably fast, clean throw before it flies as rated; slower throws turn less and fade sooner. Innova lists it as a distance driver; speed 9 is slower than the typical distance driver in our database (median speed 12).
Turn 0 and fade 2 describe a stable flight: a fairly straight line with a modest finish, the easiest shape to aim. The 0 turn means it is rated to hold its line at full speed rather than drifting, and the fade of 2 means a clear finish as it slows down. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 3 is on the low side for a distance driver in our database. A low glide rating usually means a flight that drops sooner, which can make the disc easier to place on short shots.
Try Discs, our catalog provider, lists the FL as discontinued, so you may only find it used or in old stock. The ratings still help you understand a copy you already own and find a current disc that flies the same way.
