What the Procul flight numbers suggest
Speed 12 is a distance driver rating. Recreational players usually see the rated flight only with a fast, clean throw. Thrown slower, a disc this fast fades early and loses distance.
Turn -3 and fade 2 describe an understable flight: it moves right early in the flight before the finish, the shape slower arms and hyzer flips rely on. The -3 turn means it is rated to turn noticeably at full speed, which suits slower arms, hyzer flips and rollers, and the fade of 2 means a clear finish as it slows down. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 4 is on the low side for a distance driver in our database. A low glide rating usually means a flight that drops sooner, which can make the disc easier to place on short shots. The rim is 2.3 cm wide (about 0.91 in), a typical width for a distance driver. A rim this wide usually calls for a firm power grip.
