What the Kang flight numbers suggest
Speed 3 is a putter rating. A disc this slow flies a short, controllable line and rewards a smooth release more than arm strength. Our catalog provider lists it as a midrange; speed 3 is slower than the typical midrange in our database (median speed 5).
Turn -2 and fade 0 describe an understable flight: it moves right early in the flight before the finish, the shape slower arms and hyzer flips rely on. The -2 turn means it is rated to turn noticeably at full speed, which suits slower arms, hyzer flips and rollers, and the fade of 0 means little or no rated hook at the end. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 5 is typical for a midrange in our database. Glide is the rating that changes least between similar discs; plastic and weight matter more for how long it stays up. The rim is 1 cm wide (about 0.39 in), narrower than most midranges in our database. A rim this thin fits a fan grip or a putting grip.
