What the Hellfire flight numbers suggest
Speed 10 is a fast fairway driver rating. It needs a reasonably fast, clean throw before it flies as rated; slower throws turn less and fade sooner. Our catalog provider lists it as a fairway driver; speed 10 is faster than the typical fairway driver in our database (median speed 8).
Turn 0 and fade 5 describe an overstable flight: little movement to the right and a dependable hook at the end, which helps in wind and on shots that must end left. The 0 turn means it is rated to hold its line at full speed rather than drifting, and the fade of 5 means a strong finish, more so into a headwind. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 3 is on the low side for a fairway driver in our database. A low glide rating usually means a flight that drops sooner, which can make the disc easier to place on short shots. The rim is 2.2 cm wide (about 0.87 in), wider than most fairway drivers in our database. A rim this wide usually calls for a firm power grip.
