What the Maestro flight numbers suggest
Speed 4 is a midrange rating. Most players can bring a disc this fast up to speed, so the rated turn and fade are close to what you will see.
Turn 0 and fade 2 describe a stable flight: a fairly straight line with a modest finish, the easiest shape to aim. The 0 turn means it is rated to hold its line at full speed rather than drifting, and the fade of 2 means a clear finish as it slows down. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 3 is on the low side for a midrange in our database. A low glide rating usually means a flight that drops sooner, which can make the disc easier to place on short shots. The rim is 1 cm wide (about 0.39 in), narrower than most midranges in our database. A rim this thin fits a fan grip or a putting grip.
Try Discs, our catalog provider, lists the Maestro as discontinued, so you may only find it used or in old stock. The ratings still help you understand a copy you already own and find a current disc that flies the same way.
