Choose it for
Midrange turnover practice. Try it when you want a midrange to drift through a turning line without a hard finish. Learn that shot with comfortable throws before adding more molds.
Choose something else if…
Choose the regular Buzzz if your main concern is limiting early turn. A more negative turn rating is not automatically easier for every throw.
What the numbers mean for your choice
The -2 turn makes turning shots the main reason to consider this version. For a right-handed backhand, that means drift to the right during the faster part of the throw, before its modest fade back left. Reverse those directions for a left-handed backhand.

Before you buy
If you already own a neutral midrange, buy the SS only when you want a different turning shot. For a first midrange, compare its grip with the Mako3 and Hex.

Try this on your next practice session
In a clear field, use comfortable flat releases and track when the turning movement begins. Avoid judging the disc from a single throw with an accidental release angle.
