Innova / Fairway driver

Eagle

The Innova Eagle is a speed-7 fairway driver combining some rated turn with a strong finish. It fits deliberate shaping shots better than a straight-at-all-costs brief.

Choose it for

Fairways with room to finish. Use it for a defined finishing move around an obstacle or into an open landing zone.

Choose something else if…

You want a low-fade first driver for tight straight lines.

What the numbers mean for your choice

A -1 turn rating does not cancel the 3 fade. There can be movement in both portions of the flight.

Before you buy

Do not buy it merely because your current fairway turns: first check whether release angle or wear explains the problem.

Read about the TeeBird or compare them side by side.

Try this on your next practice session

Pick a wide target corridor and record the starting direction separately from the finishing direction.

Buying advice is editorial interpretation of the sources. Personal notes are labeled separately; the practice exercise is a suggestion, not a reported test. Practice in a clear area away from people.
