What the Lycan flight numbers suggest
Speed 4 is a midrange rating. Most players can bring a disc this fast up to speed, so the rated turn and fade are close to what you will see.
Turn 0 and fade 1 describe a stable flight: a fairly straight line with a modest finish, the easiest shape to aim. The 0 turn means it is rated to hold its line at full speed rather than drifting, and the fade of 1 means a light finish as it slows down. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 5 is typical for a midrange in our database. Glide is the rating that changes least between similar discs; plastic and weight matter more for how long it stays up. The rim is 1.5 cm wide (about 0.59 in), wider than most midranges in our database.
Try Discs, our catalog provider, lists the Lycan as discontinued, so you may only find it used or in old stock. The ratings still help you understand a copy you already own and find a current disc that flies the same way.
