What the Omega Driver flight numbers suggest
Speed 3 is a putter rating. A disc this slow flies a short, controllable line and rewards a smooth release more than arm strength.
Turn 0 and fade 2 describe a stable flight: a fairly straight line with a modest finish, the easiest shape to aim. The 0 turn means it is rated to hold its line at full speed rather than drifting, and the fade of 2 means a clear finish as it slows down. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 2 is on the low side for a putt and approach disc in our database. A low glide rating usually means a flight that drops sooner, which can make the disc easier to place on short shots. The rim is 0.9 cm wide (about 0.35 in), narrower than most putt and approach discs in our database. A rim this thin fits a fan grip or a putting grip.
