What the Prodigy NERF Driver flight numbers suggest
Speed 9 is a fast fairway driver rating. It needs a reasonably fast, clean throw before it flies as rated; slower throws turn less and fade sooner. Our catalog provider lists it as a distance driver; speed 9 is slower than the typical distance driver in our database (median speed 12).
Turn -2 and fade 2 describe an understable flight: it moves right early in the flight before the finish, the shape slower arms and hyzer flips rely on. The -2 turn means it is rated to turn noticeably at full speed, which suits slower arms, hyzer flips and rollers, and the fade of 2 means a clear finish as it slows down. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 4 is on the low side for a distance driver in our database. A low glide rating usually means a flight that drops sooner, which can make the disc easier to place on short shots. The rim is 2 cm wide (about 0.79 in), narrower than most distance drivers in our database. A rim this wide usually calls for a firm power grip.
