What the Virgo flight numbers suggest
Speed 4 is a midrange rating. Most players can bring a disc this fast up to speed, so the rated turn and fade are close to what you will see. Our catalog provider lists it as a putt and approach disc; speed 4 is faster than the typical putt and approach disc in our database (median speed 2.5).
Turn -1 and fade 2 describe a stable flight: a fairly straight line with a modest finish, the easiest shape to aim. The -1 turn means it is rated to drift a little early in the flight when thrown at full speed, and the fade of 2 means a clear finish as it slows down. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 5 is on the high side for a putt and approach disc in our database. A high glide rating usually means the disc stays up longer for the same throw, which adds distance but can carry past a tight landing zone. The rim is 1.3 cm wide (about 0.51 in), wider than most putt and approach discs in our database.
