What the Tilt flight numbers suggest
Speed 9 is a fast fairway driver rating. It needs a reasonably fast, clean throw before it flies as rated; slower throws turn less and fade sooner.
Turn 1 and fade 6 describe an overstable flight: little movement to the right and a dependable hook at the end, which helps in wind and on shots that must end left. The positive turn of 1 means the maker rates it to resist turning even when thrown hard, and the fade of 6 means a strong finish, more so into a headwind. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 1 is on the low side for a fairway driver in our database. A low glide rating usually means a flight that drops sooner, which can make the disc easier to place on short shots. The rim is 2 cm wide (about 0.79 in), wider than most fairway drivers in our database. A rim this wide usually calls for a firm power grip.
Try Discs, our catalog provider, lists the Tilt as discontinued, so you may only find it used or in old stock. The ratings still help you understand a copy you already own and find a current disc that flies the same way.
