Choose it for
Very straight, slow approaches. Innova calls it beginner friendly and recommends it for straight approaches, placement shots and short drives. Nate Sexton’s note on Innova’s page says it suits people who come from Ultimate, freestyle or backyard catch.
Choose something else if…
You need a putter that fights wind. With no fade, a gust can carry the Polecat off line.
What the Polecat flight numbers mean
Speed 1 is the slowest rating Innova uses, and with 0 turn and 0 fade the Polecat should neither turn nor hook at the speeds it is meant for. Innova says it takes and holds the angle of release regardless of speed.
