What the Claws flight numbers suggest
Speed 1 is a putter rating. A disc this slow flies a short, controllable line and rewards a smooth release more than arm strength. Our catalog provider lists it as a putt and approach disc; speed 1 is slower than the typical putt and approach disc in our database (median speed 2.5).
Turn 0 and fade 0.5 describe a stable flight: a fairly straight line with a modest finish, the easiest shape to aim. The 0 turn means it is rated to hold its line at full speed rather than drifting, and the fade of 0.5 means a light finish as it slows down. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 3 is typical for a putt and approach disc in our database. Glide is the rating that changes least between similar discs; plastic and weight matter more for how long it stays up. The rim is 0.9 cm wide (about 0.35 in), narrower than most putt and approach discs in our database. A rim this thin fits a fan grip or a putting grip.
