What the Toro flight numbers suggest

Speed 4 is a midrange rating. Most players can bring a disc this fast up to speed, so the rated turn and fade are close to what you will see.

Turn 1 and fade 3 describe an overstable flight: little movement to the right and a dependable hook at the end, which helps in wind and on shots that must end left. The positive turn of 1 means the maker rates it to resist turning even when thrown hard, and the fade of 3 means a strong finish, more so into a headwind. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.

Glide 2 is on the low side for a midrange in our database. A low glide rating usually means a flight that drops sooner, which can make the disc easier to place on short shots.
