What the Halo flight numbers suggest
Speed 13 is a distance driver rating. Recreational players usually see the rated flight only with a fast, clean throw. Thrown slower, a disc this fast fades early and loses distance.
Turn -0.5 and fade 3 describe an overstable flight: little movement to the right and a dependable hook at the end, which helps in wind and on shots that must end left. The -0.5 turn is close to neutral, with only a hint of early movement at full speed, and the fade of 3 means a strong finish, more so into a headwind. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 5 is typical for a distance driver in our database. Glide is the rating that changes least between similar discs; plastic and weight matter more for how long it stays up. The rim is 2.4 cm wide (about 0.94 in), wider than most distance drivers in our database. A rim this wide usually calls for a firm power grip.
