What the #2 Roller flight numbers suggest
Speed 6 is a fairway driver rating. A moderate arm speed reaches the rated flight; thrown too slowly, it fades earlier than the numbers suggest. Our catalog provider lists it as a fairway driver; speed 6 is slower than the typical fairway driver in our database (median speed 8).
Turn -2 and fade 2 describe an understable flight: it moves right early in the flight before the finish, the shape slower arms and hyzer flips rely on. The -2 turn means it is rated to turn noticeably at full speed, which suits slower arms, hyzer flips and rollers, and the fade of 2 means a clear finish as it slows down. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 6 is on the high side for a fairway driver in our database. A high glide rating usually means the disc stays up longer for the same throw, which adds distance but can carry past a tight landing zone. The rim is 1.7 cm wide (about 0.67 in), narrower than most fairway drivers in our database.
Try Discs, our catalog provider, lists the #2 Roller as discontinued, so you may only find it used or in old stock. The ratings still help you understand a copy you already own and find a current disc that flies the same way.
