What the Aviar Driver flight numbers suggest
Speed 2 is a putter rating. A disc this slow flies a short, controllable line and rewards a smooth release more than arm strength.
Turn 0 and fade 2 describe a stable flight: a fairly straight line with a modest finish, the easiest shape to aim. The 0 turn means it is rated to hold its line at full speed rather than drifting, and the fade of 2 means a clear finish as it slows down. Those directions are for a right-handed backhand; a forehand or a left-handed backhand mirrors them.
Glide 3 is typical for a putt and approach disc in our database. Glide is the rating that changes least between similar discs; plastic and weight matter more for how long it stays up.
Try Discs, our catalog provider, lists the Aviar Driver as discontinued, so you may only find it used or in old stock. The ratings still help you understand a copy you already own and find a current disc that flies the same way.
